The Paiute prophet and originator of the Ghost Dance was declared the Red Man's Messiah. A prophet of peace, the Ghost Dance led to the Wounded Knee Massacre. Also known as Jack Wilson, born near Walker Lake, Nevada, USA (1856-1932).
