The supreme being of the Yamana of Tierra del Fuego (Argentina). Watauinewa is the primeval progenitor and ruler of live and death. He is invoked in prayers as 'Our father', but plays no part in their myths. He is also lord and giver of animals. Cp. Watavinewa (Yagan, Chile).
