Tao-de tian-zong
The Heavenly Venerable of the Tao and the Te. He is the ruler of the third heaven, Tai-qing, the Heaven of the Highest Purity.
He reveals the Taoist teachings contained in the writing guarded by the Heavenly Venerable of the Magic Jewel (Ling-bao tian-zong). He will assume a great variety of forms to bring the people of the "world of dust" closer to the teachings of the Tao.
