Stone Giant
A character from a story of the Yahgan Indians of Tierra del Fuego (South America). This stone giant is invulnerable except on the soles of his feet. He was finally overcome by a hummingbird who could not destroy him until the giant's heart exploded.
The same story, but with many local variants, is widely distributed among North American tribes.
