In Fon (Dahomey) mythology, Sogbo is the god of thunder, lightning and fire, chief of the Thunder pantheon. The designation Sogbo is used by those who vowed to the worship of the thunder deities. It is the same being as Agbe, which is the name given this god by those who follow the Sky deities.
