Sangrail
The Holy Grail. Popular etymology used to explain the word as meaning the real blood of Christ, sang-real, or the wine used in the Last Supper. Tradition has it that Joseph of Arimathea preserved part of this wine-blood in the Saint, or Holy Grail.
