Re'uyot Yehezkel

by Rabbi Geoffrey W. Dennis
"Visions of Ezekiel." Re'uyot Yehezkel is perhaps the earliest Merkavah text in existence. The work enumerates the various things that Ezekiel sees in his vision of the divine chariot (Ezekiel 1). It gives one of most detailed description of the seven heavens found in Jewish literature, including their dimensions and functions.
