A Philippine monster. It is black, much taller than a man, walks on its hind legs and eats people -- but only secretly. It is said that it can change itself into a black cat, with fiery eyes, or into a wild dog. The Pugut is a nocturnal being and occasionally appears without a head, emitting fire and smoke.
