Promachus

One of the Epigonoi.
The son of Aeson. While his brother Jason was searching for the Golden Fleece, Promachus and his father were killed by Pelias.
The name Pallas Athena, as patron goddess of Athens, was worshipped by (promachos, who leads in battle.
