Nu'u
The Hawaiian equivalent of the biblical Patriarch Noah. He was the first man to build a large vessel with a cabin on its deck. On this vessel he loaded pigs, dogs, kava, roots, and coconuts. He was thus able to escape from the flood caused by a tidal wave.
