A hero from Japanese legend. He was found by an old couple in a peach (hence his name "eldest son of a peach"). Momotaro was joined by a dog, a monkey and a pheasant. Together they had many adventures. In one of them, they sailed to an island ruled by demons whom they slew, thereby liberating two princesses.
