Mixcoatl

by Micha F. Lindemans
The Aztec god of the hunt and war, and god of the polar star. He sometimes is another form of the god Tezcatlipoca, as when he made the first fire by using the firmament (revolving around its axes) as a drill. He is the son of Cihuacoatl, and the father of Quetzalcoatl by Xochiquetzal, and of Huitzilopochtli by Coatlicue.
