The Hawaiian god of procreation and the sea, the ancestor of all human beings. Kane created the three worlds of sky, earth, and the 'upper' heaven. For a time he lived on earth with his children, then withdrew to heaven. He is called Kane-Hekili "Thunderer", "Lightning Breaking the Sky".
