Hahgwehdiyu
The good creator deity of the Iroquois. He planted a grain of corn in the body of his mother Atahensic. From this the first maize -- the staple of the Iroquois -- grew and this was considered the great gift to mankind. His twin brother is Hahgwehdaetgan, an evil spirit.
