Dawud
Dawud or Da"ud, in Islam, is one of a line of prophets listed in the Qur"an (6. 84). He is associated with Solomon as one who gives judgment (21. 78), sings praises of Allah (21. 79, 38. 18-19), and makes coats of mail (34. 11). Allah strengthened his kingdom and gave him wisdom and sound judgment (38. 20).
