Children of God
Hebrew B'nai ha-Elohim, a term for the heavenly hosts; angels (Gen. 6; Job 1). The singular term, Ben Elohim, son of God, is an honorific given to Israelite kings of the Davidic line based on II Samuel 7 and Ps. 2. This is not to be confused with the Christian doctrine that Jesus is the "Only begotten Son of God."
