Bhaga

The Vedic Hindu god of prosperity and wealth, and the patron of marriage. He was blinded by Virabhadra, the monster created by Shiva. Bhaga is one of Adityas and the spring month (March) is dedicated to him. He is identical with the Persian god Baga.
