Aunyainá

by Micha F. Lindemans
An evil sorcerer in Tupari myth. He is tusked like a boar and feeds on children. One day he was out hunting the vamoa-pod, primitive beings who inhabited the Earth before mankind, but they escaped to the skies by climbing up a long creeper. He attempted to chase after them, but a parrot gnawed through the creeper and Aunyainá fell to the ground and was killed. From his arms and legs grew caymans and iguanas, and from his fingers and toes came all sorts small lizards.
