Alisanos
A local god in Gaul who is mentioned in inscriptions found in the Côte d'Or (central France). Attempts have been made to identify him as a mountain-ash god or a god of rowan trees. The ancient Gaulish city of Alesia, now called Alise-Sainte-Reine, may well be connected with him.
