Acala
"The Immovable." A divinity in Indian Buddhism, the "Protector of Teaching." His image is placed before temples to ward off those who are hostile to the Buddhist doctrine. He is portrayed with three eyes and six arms, grinding his teeth. In his hands he holds a sword, a thunderbolt (Vajra), an axe, and a noose.
